Interview and photographs featured in Ventana Latina
Ventana Latina is an online publication that aims to make the rich culture of Latin America accessible to English-speaking audiences. It does so by publishing the work of poets, novelists, essayists, journalists, artists and other cultural producers in Latin America, frequently in translation, as well as pieces by those interested in Latin America living in the English-speaking world.
For the June 2015 issue of the magazine, I was interviewed by Verónica Sanchís, photographer and journalist who collaborates with the cultural magazine based in London. She created the monthly feature, Fotografia Latina, for which she runs monthly interviews with photographers who work in Latin America. More recently, she launched the digital platform, Foto Féminas, which promotes through monthly online features the work of female Latin American and Caribbean photographers and of female photographers who work in Latin America.
