CROP CIRCLES
“The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible”
Oscar Wilde
We cannot know everything. We navigate in a permanent search for answers as we are aware of the
unknown. The reality surrounds us raising up many questions and leaving us with just a few certainties;
is the mystery of life. The enigma is part of our essence, as it is our desire to know and explore the
unknown.
Every summer, the fields of Southern England atract hundreds of researchers from all over the world,
attracted by strange geometric patterns that appear in the cropfields. From one day to the other, the crops
of Wiltshire surrender in perfect symmetry and a simple field turns into a spectacular phenomenon of colossal
size. Who makes the crop circles? Why are they there?
The most interesting aspect of crop formations is how the whole phenomenon reminds us of our human
condition evidencing that we are endowed with an inmense capacity and yet, limited.
